Wined, dined and rested.

I’m creating this little blog by way of a travel journal of my little journeys round France and Spain, and to try to show some of the places that I visit and the people that I meet along the way.

I so hate ‘commercial’ travelling, bland hotels which are the same from country to country, food which is ‘international’ and tourism professionals who feel that they have to give everything a consumerist sheen in order to be attractive to other nationalities, and I also feel that finding the REAL France, or Spain, or anywhere else is becoming harder.

Maybe this is a function of becoming older.
